Carola Terreni

Creator and Teacher of the HapusKids Method

Carola Terreni holds a BS in Psychology with a specialization in Trauma from Endicott University, USA. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Social Emotional Learning in the USA and a Master’s degree in East-West Spirituality from Cambridge Theological Federation, UK. She is the creator and teacher of the HapusKids method, integrating her extensive experience in expressive arts, meditation and yoga.

Since 1979, she has shared stories from diverse traditions, dance and other arts with children, youth and adults in multiple educational institutions and social projects internationally. Her approach is centered on nurturing the essential in adults and children, promoting well-being and connection through various forms of expression.

 

Throughout her career, she has worked on educational and therapeutic projects based on the integration of art, movement and spirituality. Her work also includes the training of teachers and professionals, guiding them to incorporate creative and conscious practices that promote integral learning and emotional development in diverse cultural contexts.

Lucila Meira

Professor of Movement and Work with Children with Motor Disabilities

Lucila Meira is a dancer, choreographer and teacher who graduated from IUNA. She is part of the dance and theatre company Piso 9 and has extensive experience as a teacher in disciplines such as contact and tango, both in Argentina and in the Netherlands.

She trained as a yoga teacher and osteopath in Madrid, where she developed a specialized approach to bodywork with people with motor disabilities, inspired by her experience as a mother. This work has given rise to workshops and dance-theater works that have been recognized by the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires as being of educational and social interest.

Lucila seeks to enable dance as a language of connection, both personal and group, promoting health and well-being through movement.

Macarena Uria Romero

Clinical and Family Psychology.

Professor of Developmental Psychology

Macarena Uria Romero is a clinical and family psychologist, specializing in developmental psychology. She teaches this discipline and is deeply committed to promoting emotional well-being in children and families.

With years of experience in her practice, Macarena integrates preventive psychology practices that enhance comprehensive development in childhood. Her approach is based on helping adults work on themselves to offer children empathetic bonds, quality time and meaningful emotional connection.

Macarena believes that emotional support during key stages of childhood is a fundamental tool for building healthy futures.

Carina Branz

Visual artist, dancer and teacher

Certified Curative Educator

Carina Branz is a visual artist, dancer, and certified curative educator with a distinguished career in special education and the implementation of Waldorf pedagogy. She is a mother of four children and has extensive experience as a teacher of arts and crafts and creative endeavors.

She lived in Patagonia, where she promoted the Waldorf Garden of the Andes, the first Waldorf school with an approved curriculum in Neuquén. This project became an inspiring model for other educational initiatives in the region.

Carina focuses her work on accompanying children through creative processes that respect natural cycles, promoting enjoyment and connection with collective action.
